Jason Michael EDDY

Like his mother Arlene before him, Jason had an exciting birth experience.  (He decided to be born about two months early).  Because of expected birth complications, Arlene was rushed by ambulance from Peel Hospital in Brampton to Women's College Hospital in downtown Toronto where a higher level neo-natal care was a available.  Jason started to arrive in the ambulance and Arlene barely made it inside the doors of the hospital before Jason was born.  He remained in an incubator until removed from the critical list and was then transferred back to Peel Memorial for another 2 weeks and the remainder of his hospital care.

Jason has always been active, whether playing soccer or badminton on school teams, or just riding a bike or skateboarding around the neighbourhood.  He is also an avid archer like his father and enjoys skiing in the winter.  Like his sister, Jason has also completed all swimming and first aid training up to the level of Assistant Water Safety Instructor and has now been successful in obtaining a part-time job with the City of Brampton Aquatics Department.   Jason received a Citizenship Award upon Grade 6 Graduation, received the Vice-Principal's Award at his Grade 8 Graduation, and also gave the Valedictorian address for his high school graduation class.  Following in his father's footsteps, Jason has a love of tools and working on cars and engines.  It was therefore a clear choice for him when he decided to attend the area's largest vocational high school -- with the intent of heading towards a career in the automotive industry.  Jason has now successfully completed his schooling and is now employed as a heavy- machine mechanic at Tormont Industries.
