E. W. JONES DIES AT CLOVERDALE
The death of Ernest Woodford Jones occurred on April 14 at Cloverdale, after a few weeks of illness. Mr. Jones was 81 years of age, and the son of Aaron and Margaret Jones. He was born at Jones Forks, York Co.
He was a life long resident of Cloverdale, and a member of the Primitive Baptist church. He possessed a retiring disposition and was friendly and widely known, and will be missed by a large circle or friends.
Surviving, are his wife, four sons Raymond and Lorne at Coverdale, Eldon and Oswald of Royal Oak, Mich., and three daughters, Mrs. Daisy York in Connecticut, Mrs. Uarda Taylor, Florenceville, and Mrs. Hazel Kitchen, Berkley Mich., and a number of grandchildren and other relatives.
A large funeral service was conducted by Rev. A. Hatfield from his late home to the church at Cloverdale. Hymns for the oc­casion. were “Eastern Gate", ”We'll never say Good-bye" and "Good Night and Good Morning”, and “I’m Going Home", at the graveside. There were a number of beautiful floral tributes from the family and friends.
Pallbearers were, Otto, Ken­neth, John and George Wallace.

Martha Amelia "Mattie" ALLAN-104 was born on 27 Jul 1887. She died on 01 Apr 1968 in Cloverdale, Carleton Co, . New Brunswick. Mattie married Ernest Woodford JONES "Woody"-295 about 1905.
