At the Queens North Health Complex Nursing Home on Tuesday, December 9th, 2008 PEARL SARAH ROGERS, passed on at 95 years of age, widow of Cecil Rogers and daughter of John and Lelia (Legassie) Doherty. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Helen) Rogers of Chipman; by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; by sisters Shirley Clark, Hazel Mowatt (Tick), Alberta Bishop (Allie) and Bernice Smith. Predeceased by daughter Wanda, an infant son and son James Rogers; by grandson, Derek Rogers; by brothers, Purdy, Alfred and Hubert Doherty and Leslie Bishop; by sisters Greta Pyne and Juanita Pyne.

Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Thursday when service will be held from the Second Chipman United Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Egers officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Spring interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to donor’s choice, would be appreciated by the family.
